It will be nice to know how place of worship operates during services. Try it out, visit different denominations and I do ask you to be the judge of their different style entertainment during worship. Some churches are very charismatic but most will bore you to death. This is not about criticism, it's about a place of worship been categorised as entertainment and leisure venue on any day of worship. Oh yes, it is not only Sundays now, it is all days of the week depending on the total population of the congregation. But Sunday is special. You wear your best attires and drive down with your latest limousines if you have one. God has truly made it for you. The climax is celebrating thanksgiving service. Oh, the entertainment in worship. Attend a church, it is good to experiment out of curiosity and see if you could gain that uplifts in spiritual well-being which will turn your life around for the better or worst.
Once upon a time, I was in a country in Africa. Believe me, African countries are dynamite in entertainment. Have you ever experience so much road rage. People intentionally cause mayhem on the road because they own a car. Aggressive verbal exchanges, roaring voices and punches are common order of the day. Please get this right for you tourist to Africa, this is not a common prognosis. The beauty is, behold, on Sunday, you will find this same people attending churches, singing praise to God, joyously hugging each other prompted by "let's offer each other the word of peace". What follows is all smiles around and congratulatory.
On Monday they are back to the business of all round traffic punch ups. OK I must have over exaggerate. But this is true. Evidence based.
Pentecostal churches are entertainment venues. Do you agree? Wow.....
Beautiful songs along with charismatic preaching. I am not saying I am Pentecostal. But I have been there. The joy of watching different age presentations at the podium. The powerful words of God from the man of God. The environment has something arching to anticipations as if something is there is a good spiritual premonition in the air. Eagerness written on the congregations countenances. People sweating profusely depending on the church ventilation system. Powerful stuff.
