The weather forecast says the day is departing to be bright with adequate sunshine warranting some leisure activity. I have planned on exiting out to see a friend in Greenwich, with the design to visit the Greenwich Maritime Museum. Good story, I have been dwelling in London for so many years and despite my profession in Leisure and Tourism, it has never occurred to me to see this renowned world geographical attraction.
In anticipation, I got ready to break this taboo.
Singing enthusiastically of the expected visit, I got to work on doling myself with a hot shower and weekend casual. Then checked my pocket to ensure that I am well
equipped with the necessary financial means to enjoy myself. The trouble is, for every outing most especially for leisure, you start spending as before long as you step out through your front doorway. One of the most expensive spends is transport.
This is a fact, as far as London is concerned. Even if you are using the Oyster pre-payment,
it is still expensive never mind the discount behind it.
My advice to our foreign visitors, ensure that you are well equipped, financially when coming to our attractive City of London. For the domestic tourist, it’s hard getting time out within their own state. It will be harder
for an international tourist if the spending money is not enough.
As for me, I got stuck once again in my uncomfortable
zone. The money issue closes the front doorway of the mansion. Now am really upset. All the excitement is gone. Headache, confusion, hurt and demoralized now waded in. Who is out there to help? This is not a way to live a life.
The cause for this, someone told me should be attributed to
the economic downturn which is still plaguing us. It is difficult to recuperate and go back to basic, earning enough income to be sustainable. We are shrouded with a load of paying debts that render us penniless and with goose egg to hold us with ordinary entertainment such as travelling to the Maritime Museum. Am
I complaining, yes, you're damn right I am?
